First Nations Economic Development Program

Article

BDO is proud to work closely with First Nations communities and organizations across Canada. We understand the complex challenges facing these communities and work hard to provide sustainable solutions that will encourage prosperity while upholding traditions.

For many years, our professionals have been working with First Nations communities and organizations to identify and secure government funding opportunities available in their area. To make this information more accessible, we partnered with the Assembly of First Nations to create a database of First Nations Economic Development Programs, an innovative tool summarizing economic development programs available to First Nations communities and organizations across Canada.

The intention is to further develop this tool into an interactive and searchable database of First Nations programs. This online portal will provide First Nations communities and organizations the ability to search programs based on key search criteria (e.g. access to capital) and location to find applicable funding opportunities, in one single window. Sign up now for a copy of the economic development listing and to be informed on the progress of the proposed portal.
