BDO Canada Transaction Advisory Services is pleased to announce that a private investment company has acquired a controlling interest in Richstone Fine Foods Ltd. (Richstone) which was completed in April of this year.
Founded in 2010, Richstone specializes in the sourcing, marketing, and distribution of a broad range of high-quality specialty food products including dry packaged goods, tomato/barbeque sauces, antipasti products, as well as organic, gluten-free, and vegan products. The company serves large Canadian food retailers as well as other food distributors in Canada. Richstone assists their customers with sourcing and development of private label products. In addition to private label programs, the company also distributes branded food products. Congratulations to both Richstone and the private acquirer on completion of this transaction.
